You can keep your job, your gym and the people you know exactly where they are, and change nothing except the street you come home to. Clitheroe is a historic market town at the centre of the Ribble Valley, with a twelfth century Norman castle and its grounds sitting in the middle of it. In 2024 **the Ribble Valley was named in The Sunday Times Best Places to Live guide**, for its countryside, its schools and its reputation for food and drink. - Independent shops, pubs and places to eat within walking distance, so the car can stay parked at the weekend - Pendle Hill is a few miles away and the Forest of Bowland National Landscape is a short drive north - Close enough to Burnley that nothing about your week has to change **Being straight with you:** a one-bed flat in Burnley is cheaper on the rent line than a room here.
