## Meet Sara

#### Interior Designer & Co-Founder

Hi, I’m Sara, co-founder of Boutique Homes. Interiors have always been a real passion of mine. Over the years, I’ve loved transforming our own home, our retreat in Spain, and helping friends and family bring their spaces to life. Along the way, people often said, “You’re really good at this, you should do it professionally!” and that was part of how Boutique Homes began.

For me, it’s not about following trends or making things look “perfect.” It’s about creating homes that feel good to live in, warm, inviting spaces that tell your story and make you smile every time you walk through the door. I love finding those details that bring a space to life and make it feel just right.

My journey started more than 20 years ago, but it’s still as exciting now as it was back then. Every project is different, and I enjoy finding those little touches that turn a house into a home.

Away from interiors, I’m a proud mum to two daughters and wife to Mark, my partner in life and business. Together, we’re always learning, growing, and navigating the ups and downs of running our businesses, but it’s a journey we love.

With experience across different industries, from fashion and retail to childcare and property, and as a trained emotional intelligence coach, I bring a slightly different perspective to interior design. For me, it’s about more than just how a space looks, it’s about how it feels. I want every home I design to be a place people truly connect with.

If you’re ready to create a home that feels as good as it looks, I’d love to help.

- ##### Why should I hire an interior designer?

A professional designer saves you time, avoids costly mistakes, and creates a cohesive look that reflects your personality. We don’t just make things “look nice”, we plan layouts, source furnishings, manage trades, and ensure your home works beautifully for your lifestyle.
- ##### How much does it cost?

Our services are tailored to your needs. For guidance: consultations start from £300, room refresh packages from £650, and full-service projects vary depending on scope. We’ll always be transparent about costs upfront so there are no surprises.
- ##### Isn’t interior design only for luxury budgets?

Not at all. We offer packages for every stage, from affordable consultations and room refreshes to full-service transformations.
- ##### I don’t know what my style is. Can you still help?

Absolutely. Most clients come to us feeling unsure about their style. Through guided conversations, moodboards, and visual examples, we help you uncover what feels right, and translate that into a tailored design.
- ##### What if I spend the money and don’t like the result?

We use moodboards, layouts, and 3D visuals to show you the design direction before anything is purchased. You’ll have opportunities to give feedback and make revisions, so the final result feels 100% right for you.
- ##### Can you work with my existing furniture or décor?

Yes. We often incorporate existing pieces that clients love, blending them with new additions to create a fresh look that still feels like home.
- ##### How long does the process take?

It depends on the scope. A single-room refresh might take 2–4 weeks, while a full-home design can take several months. We’ll give you a clear timeline at the start of your project so you know what to expect.
- ##### Do you only work with local clients?

We work both locally (on-site) and remotely (through online consultations and digital design packages). So whether you’re nearby or further afield, we can help.
- ##### What if I have builders or trades already?

Great! We can collaborate with your chosen trades, or we can recommend trusted professionals from our network. Either way, we ensure the design vision is carried through seamlessly.
- ##### I want something sustainable. Do you offer eco-friendly options?

Yes. We prioritise sustainable materials, timeless design choices, and ethical suppliers wherever possible. We can also guide you on upcycling and repurposing furniture to reduce waste while keeping a luxury finish.

## Why I'm passionate about helping you love your home.

“I know how stressful it can feel when your home doesn’t quite work the way you want it to. So many of my clients tell me they’ve spent months second-guessing colours, scrolling through social media, or buying furniture that just doesn’t fit. That’s exactly why I do what I do. My passion is helping people cut through the overwhelm, bring clarity to their ideas, and create spaces that feel both beautiful and practical. For me, there’s nothing better than seeing the relief (and excitement!) on a client’s face when they realise their dream home is finally within reach.”
