The Bawdlands is a six-bedroom co-living house on Bawdlands, in the centre of Clitheroe. Every room has its own private en-suite shower room and comes fully furnished, and one monthly payment covers rent, council tax, gas, electricity, water, superfast broadband and weekly cleaning of the communal areas.

Not a house share. Not a bedsit.

Most shared houses are a family home with the dining room turned into a bedroom. This one was designed from the shell up around how six adults actually live.

Your own bathroom

All six rooms have a private en-suite shower room. No bathroom is shared by anyone, which is the single thing people in house shares complain about most.

Designed, not converted

Sara Byrne, our co-founder, is an interior designer. A chef’s kitchen with double ovens and two fridges, a separate media room and a quiet study space, so working late and watching television do not compete.

Nothing tying you in

Tenancies run monthly with no fixed term under the Renters’ Rights Act 2025. Give two months’ notice whenever you want to leave. Nothing to renew, and no renewal fee.
